Daisy began her Mineral Area College career performing with the Little Theatre Guild in 1999 and went on to study Speech and Drama at MAC on Theater Scholarship from 2001-2003. Daisy holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Creative Writing with minors in both American Studies and Sociology from Southern New Hampshire University and she earned an MFA in Writing from Lindenwood University in St. Charles. She is a member of the Delta Psi Omega National Theatre Honor Society and the Sigma Tau Delta International English Honor Society.
Daisy is thrilled to be back on the MAC campus with her whole family and is grateful for the privilege of laying a solid foundation underneath MAFAA's Theater Department in conjunction with her husband - Technical Director, Tim Benz - as the program continues to grow and thrive under their leadership.
Daisy also teaches Main Character Monologues, a class that focuses on character analysis and development, challenging students to write and perform a monologue in their chosen character's voice. You'll find Daisy in the theater most afternoons - planning and organizing, or directing and executing one of MAFAA's theatrical productions or fundraising events.
