-Amanda Dement

Executive Director

Driven by a passion for seeing the arts flourish, a group of individuals conceived the dream of a fine arts academy. This dedicated team organized in the spring of 2021, and built the foundation for what is today the Mineral Area Fine Arts Academy (MAFAA)

Through the MAFAA, students of all ages, abilities, and socio-economic levels now have the opportunity to study the arts under the tutelage of some of the area’s finest educators. Course offerings include instruction in music, and theater, and eventually, visual arts and dance.

The Mineral Area Fine Arts Academy is a not-for-profit organization. We invite our community to contribute as we raise funds to support the many programs we have to offer and to even provide scholarships to students in need.

We are so excited to bring you a variety of courses for both music and theater.

Registration is NOW open for Fall Session 2 classes. Fall Session 2 consists of 8 classes/lessons and begins on October 17th. Registration is NOW OPEN! It is our goal at Mineral Area Fine Arts Academy to offer a variety of courses at all levels to meet the needs of those in our community. Nevertheless, the accident-prone thespians battle against all odds to make it through to their final curtain call, with hilarious consequences! Part Monty Python, part Sherlock Holmes, this Olivier Award–winning comedy is a global phenomenon that’s guaranteed to leave you aching with laughter! Buy your tickets HERE today!
