Spend the day on the Mineral Area College campus performing and learning with highly respected jazz educators and clinicians.

This festival is open to middle school/junior high and high school ensembles, vocal and instrumental. The format of the festival is “comments only”, however judges will select the best band in each festival site each day. Judges will also select individuals to receive outstanding musician awards. Bands will have a performance and will immediately receive a clinic after. Entry fees are $200 per first ensemble and $150 for each additional ensemble. The festival is sponsored by the Mineral Area Fine Arts Academy (MAFAA), a not-for-profit organization.

This year we are excited to welcome trumpeter supreme, Allen Vizzutti (Please see the reverse side for bio.) Allen and an all star combo will be presenting a master class around noon on Friday, March 15th and Saturday, March 16th. In addition to the master class, Allen is providing a round table with band directors/music educators. This will take place on Thursday evening at Mineral Area College. More details on this meeting will be available soon.

Registration for the Festival is NOW open. Bands may register by filling out the form below. The deadline for entry and ticket requests will be Friday, February 9, 2024. After this time, festival entry and/or concert tickets cannot be guaranteed.
