      -Amanda Dement,  Executive Director

Driven by a passion for seeing the arts flourish, a group of individuals conceived the dream of a fine arts academy. This dedicated team organized in the spring of 2021, and built the foundation for what is today the Mineral Area Fine Arts Academy (MAFAA)

Through the MAFAA, students of all ages, abilities, and socio-economic levels now have the opportunity to study the arts under the tutelage of some of the area’s finest educators. Course offerings include instruction in music, and theater, and eventually, visual arts and dance.

The Mineral Area Fine Arts Academy is a not-for-profit organization. We invite our community to contribute as we raise funds to support the many programs we have to offer and to even provide scholarships to students in need.

Our very own MAFAA Bluegrass students will be opening this concert.  You will NOT want to miss this!
